Is Your Child's Car Seat Installed Correctly? Let The Farmington Hills Fire Department Inspect It For You

FARMINGTON HILLS (WWJ) -- The Farmington Hills Fire Department is doing their part to make sure children in their community stay safe.

Nationally-certified child safety seat technicians will inspect all types of car seats for proper installation and possible product recall on Sunday from 8 a.m. to noon at the fire station on Drake Road.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says 75 percent of kids are riding in seats that aren't properly installed or don't fit correctly.

Inspections are free and open to the public.
