Is SOL A Detroit Lions Anthem You'd Buy Down On?
DETROIT - What other national football team is so celebrated for losing?
Seen in shop in Twelve Oaks mall a 'SOL Football' shirt.
"Making Losing a Tradition - SOL Football - Since 1957," could it be any other team but the Lions?
SOL, for those unfamiliar, is an acronym for Same Old Lions.

On the heels of the Detroit Lions winning three in-a-row (now 4-3) -- fans have been at the mercy of ownership which just celebrated the last playoff win for the team -- a win over Dallas at the Silverdome - in the 1991 season.
Remember the Silverdome?
Today, any mistake on the field is followed by a plethora of social media rants which inevitably include SOL.
But with talk of Matthew Stafford's recent performances, which have included mention of MVP and elite status of the 28-year-old quarterback, is this the year the Lions make folks forget SOL?
