Ihedigbo, Carey, Reid Listed On Injury Report For Lions

CBS DETROIT - In advance of the Monday Night Football matchup between the Detroit Lions and New York Giants, the Lions released their injury report, and it included the name of starting strong safety James Ihedigbo, who missed practice Thursday because of injuries to the knee and neck.

The Lions brought in Ihedigbo this offseason from the Baltimore Ravens, with whom he won a Super Bowl. Ihedigbo had been expected to start for the Lions along with free safety Glover Quin, but depending on the extent of Ihedigbo's injuries, that pairing might not happen Monday.

Also listed on the injury report are veteran safety Don Carey and rookie defensive tackle Caraun Reid. Carey is dealing with a hamstring issue and, like Ihedigbo, is listed as not having practiced. Reid has a shoulder injury but participated in limited practice.
