He was many things before he became a candidate for President of the United States. And while many probably remember his once popular reality TV show "The Apprentice," some may not recall the time Donald Trump starred alongside the oddly shaped burger-pushing purple costumed character Grimace in a 2002 ad for McDonald's dollar menu.

"I don't know how you do it," declares a younger Trump, with darker but similarly oddly styled hair to today's. "I've put together some really impressive deals, but this thing you've pulled off: a Big N Tasty for just a dollar? How do you do it? What's your secret?"

Fast-forward to the present, the billionaire businessman got a lot of applause from a crowd of 2,000 in Birch Run, Michigan, Wednesday, where he raised a few eyebrows with comments regarding a Ford plant in Mexico. Regardless of what some have perceived as gaffes and outrageous behavior, he's leading his fellow Republican candidates in the polls.
