Ian Somerhalder Foreshadows Big Announcement On Twitter Amid TVD, Relationship Rumors

Ian Somerhalder is deep in thought while the successful CW show he stars in as Damon Salvatore rolls along in its 7th season.

The show is moving to Friday with "The Originals" which in the past has signaled the demise of a series.

In addition to the timeslot change there are rumors of Somerhalder's ex Nina Dobrev returning to the show in a cameo this season. Somerhalder married "Twilight" actress and screenwriter Nikki Reed in 2015.

TVD moves to Fridays starting January 29 -- until then, Detroit area fans can watch the rest of season 7 on CW50 Thursdays at 8 p.m.
