Detroit Tigers second baseman Ian Kinsler came up short in the Final Vote for the 2016 All-Star Game in San Diego, but his choice of wardrobe before Friday's game makes him a winner in our eyes.

During an interview with MLB Network, Kinsler explained how the shirt represents the team's focus at this point in the season.

Kinsler lost the Final Vote to the Toronto Blue Jays' Michael Saunders for the last spot on the American League roster. Jose Altuve and Robinson Cano are the two second baseman on the A.L. roster.
