DETROIT (CBS Detroit) - In midst of a record-breaking cold and snowy winter, Home Depot is gearing up for spring — looking to hire 1,500 employees around metro Detroit.

As part of a nationwide hiring of 80,000, the home improvement giant will be expanding its workforce in preparation for its busiest selling season of the year.
