Hockey Player Nearly Decapitates Himself With His Own Stick [VIDEO]

Hockey is a dangerous sport when you're on the ice. It seems to be pretty dangerous when you are coming off the ice as well.

Mitchell Skiba, who plays for the Alpena Flyers of the Midwest Junior Hockey League, had a moment I'm sure he wished didn't happen.

While coming off the ice for a game misconduct, Skiba went to bang his stick against the ice. Only one little problem, the sitck managed to get stuck on both sides of the glass and nearly decapitated Skiba.

It's pretty funny to watch, and it's also good to see he got right back up. Whether that's from embarrassment or skill, I have no idea.
