Helio Castroneves Races Into The WWJ Studio With Grand Prix Highlights

DETROIT (WWJ) - Fresh off of his 29th career victory with a win at the Detroit Grand Prix on Sunday, Helio Castroneves stopped by the WWJ studio to talk about the race.

 

With a lead so large he was able to make a pit stop and still return to his place in first, Castroneves, won the second Grand Prix race of the weekend.

Castroneves of Brazil, was the driver of the #3 Team Penske Dallara Chevrolet winning the Verizon IndyCar Chevrolet Indy Dual II at The Raceway on Belle Isle in Detroit he joked in studio about drivers in general:

"I'm not judging, I'm just there as a passenger ... people are trying to show how good they are and I'm like,'relax, just drive your car, you know it's fine,' we're going to get to the place safe and no problem," remarked Castroneves.

Along with driver Will Power, Castroneves helped complete the sweep for Team Penske. Castroneves says he looks forward to driving on what he called the "jewel of Detroit" in years to come.
