Hasty Goes "Downward Dan" To Pay Off Bet

Greg: Before the Super Bowl, Stoney and Bill made a bet, with the twist being that the producers, myself and Dan Hasty, would have to provide the payoff. I sided with Bill, who picked the Patriots, while Hasty picked Stoney, who took the Seahawks. I'm an avid yogi. Hasty's dad is a certified dance instructor. If the Seahawks won, I would have to don a woman's dance outfit and take a class as Terry Hasty's dance partner. If the Patriots won, Hasty would have to throw on his girly stretchy pants and take a yoga class. Thanks to Malcolm Butler's late-game interception, the Patriots won, and Hasty made the trek out to Brighton for a 90-minute hot vinyasa class.

Hasty: As a yoga expert, I find it important to give back to the community and visit various hot vinyasa classes whenever I can. Obviously, that last sentence is in no way true, and had this class been any longer, I would have probably passed out. I spent the morning stretching, pushing, and pulling every tendon and muscle I could find. After making the trip to find a women's yoga outfit, I was ready to show off my great yoga talent, and unleash the beast within. We've got highlights...

Hasty: At first, I felt like I was going to breeze through the work out, but then things picked up about halfway through, and for a while, I felt lucky to be standing. Some guys act like yoga isn't a manly workout, but it is, and it will do much more than most people think to get you in shape.

Greg: I thought things would be interesting when Hasty demonstrated for us that he's not even close to touching his toes. He did a pretty good job for a gangly 6'5" yoga virgin. Thankfully for Hasty, according to another yogi, our instructor "took it easy on us".

Hasty: What an excellent workout. Lee Ann from the Yoga Center for Healthy Living in Brighton was outstanding, as the workout really does hit all of your weak spots. I recommend this place enough to give it 5-out-of-5 downward dogs.
