Handyman Charged In Death Of Interior Designer Enters Plea

DETROIT (AP) - Prosecutors say a handyman accused of stabbing a Detroit-area interior designer has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder.

The Wayne County prosecutor's office says an agreement for Monday's plea calls for David Corzilius to be sentenced to 30-60 years in prison for the death of Daniel Clancy of Grosse Pointe Farms. Other charges are being dismissed in the case.

Clancy was stabbed in March and died in April.

Corzilius told police that he became upset because Clancy had touched his buttocks. Corzilius' lawyer has said he had a history of drug problems and mental health issues. Sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 22.
