Gunman Targets Man Walking Down Street In Southwest Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police say a man was walking on the city's southwest side when someone drove by and opened fire.

The incident happened Tuesday morning near Horatio and Braden streets, in a neighborhood near Michigan Avenue and I-94.

Police say the man was walking in the area when a suspect fired multiple shots from a passing vehicle.

The man, who received a gaze wound to his toe, walked to a nearby CVS Pharmacy and called police.

Police are now searching for the gunman, although a detailed description was not immediately available.
