Grizzlies Sign G Kalin Lucas

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — The Memphis Grizzlies have signed guard Kalin Lucas, bringing back a player who played eight preseason games with them.

The Grizzlies did not announce contract terms Tuesday.

The 6-foot-1 Lucas averaged 3.1 points and shot 42.9 percent this preseason for the Grizzlies. The 25-year-old guard also played with Memphis during the Orlando summer league only to be waived Oct. 25 and going back to the Grizzlies' NBA Development League affiliate in Iowa.

Lucas played 29 games last season with the Iowa Energy. Lucas was not drafted coming out of Michigan State in 2011, and he also has played in Turkey and Greece.
