Grandmother Ejected From Car, Baby Dies In 2-Vehicle Crash In Western Michigan
PARK TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) — Authorities in western Michigan say a 62-year-old woman and a 9-month-old child have been killed in a two-vehicle crash that also left a younger woman seriously hurt.
The Grand Rapids Press and Holland Sentinel report the car being driven by the older woman went through a stop sign Saturday morning in Ottawa County's Park Township near Holland. The car collided with a pickup truck.
The grandmother was ejected from the car. A 24-year-old woman riding in the car was flown to a hospital, where she is listed in critical condition.
Occupants of the truck had minor injuries.
