Governor Whitmer Declared State of Emergency To Bring More Energy To Michigan Homes

(CBS Detroit) - Governor Gretchen Whitmer declared a state of emergency over the weekend to bring more energy to Michigan homes.

The declaration eliminates weekly compliance limits for the transportation of propane and heating oil through February 28th.

Governor Whitmer says Michigan has experienced an abnormally high demand for energy amid last week's winter snowstorms.
