Governor Released From Hospital After Stay Related To Blood Clot

LANSING (WWJ/AP) - Governor Rick Snyder was released from an Ann Arbor hospital Monday morning according to Snyder's spokeswoman Sara Wurfel.

Wurfel said Snyder worked from a hospital room over the weekend and rested after doctors discovered a blood clot in his right leg.

Snyder was admitted to St. Joseph Mercy Hospital near his Ann Arbor home on Thursday after noticing swelling in his leg.

Snyder tore his Achilles tendon while jogging in Florida when he was on vacation.
