Gordie Howe's Son Says Hockey Great Had More Treatment

DETROIT (AP) — Gordie Howe's son Murray says the hockey legend is "comfortable and happy" and recently had more stem cell therapy in Mexico.

Gordie Howe has been recovering from a stroke he had last year. Murray says his father is still participating in a clinical trial where stem cells are being used. Murray said he'd like to wait until the first phase of that clinical trial is complete before providing more updates.

He says his father can still walk and do things he enjoys, and he still has his sense of humor.
