Girls Say Stranger Tried To Lure Them Into Car With Kitten In Macomb Township

MACOMB TOWNSHIP (WWJ) - Macomb County authorities are alerting parents after a man may have trued to two young girls into a vechile.

It happened Sunday afternoon as the two 11-year-old girls were playing outside one of their homes in the 55000 block of Frost in Macomb Township.

The girls told a Macomb County Sheriff's deputy that man driving a small, older-model blue car pulled up to them and asked if they wanted a kitten for $10.

The man then pulled a kitten out of a cooler, the girls told him "no" and ran inside the house where one of their moms called 911.

No one was hurt.

The man, only described as an "older white male, with gray hair and missing his teeth, drove away and then passed by the house again before leaving the neighborhood, the girls said. They could not provide a clothing description.

Deputies searched the area but didn't locate the suspect.
