Get Into The Holiday 'Spirits' At The Detroit Zoo
ROYAL OAK (WWJ) - 'Tis the season for lights and libations as the Detroit Zoo hosts Holiday Cheer at Wild Lights!
The 21-and-older event will take place on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2014, 6 to 10 p.m.
Guests will be able to enjoy holiday drinks while viewing the zoo's spectacular light display. More than five million twinkling LED lights will brighten the evening sky and illuminate buildings, trees and more than 100 animal sculptures on a trail through the front half of the Zoo.
Holiday Cheer tickets are $40 and include zoo admission; "The Polar Express 4-D Experience" at the Wild Adventure Zone; and three full-pour alcoholic beverages, wine or beer. Food and additional drink tickets will be available for purchase.
Designated Driver tickets are $25 and include admission, "The Polar Express 4-D Experience", and unlimited soft drinks and hot cocoa. DD ticket holders are not permitted to consume alcohol at the event.
Holiday Cheer tickets are available in advance at Window One at the front of the Detroit Zoo, online at www.detroitzoo.org or at the gate the night of the event (if not sold out). Parking is $6 per car.
