Get A FREE Car Wash In Farmington After You Vote

FARMINGTON (WWJ) - On this Election Day, here's something everyone can agree on: Vehicles look nicer when they're freshly washed.

Business owner Mark Owen says Colonial Car Wash, at 9 Mile and Farmington roads in Farmington, is giving out free car washes on Tuesday to people who vote.

"We'll clean their car up complimentary for voting today," said Owen. "All they need to do is bring their 'I Voted' sticker in with them and they're free to go through the wash."

Owen says a few hundred free car washes is a small price to pay for the freedom to vote.

"We appreciate living in the country that we do and we appreciate people that have taken time to get out there and vote, stand in long lines and get up early, to choose our leaders," he said.
