Lockdown Lifted After Bullet Found At Garden City High School
GARDEN CITY (WWJ) - A lockdown has been lifted at Garden City High School after a bullet was found on the property.
Police responded to the school, along Middlebelt Road at Maplewood Street, around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday after a student discovered a single bullet in a stairwell. As a precaution, the school was placed on lockdown and students were kept in place for several hours.
Michigan State Police responded and searched the building with K-9 units. Students said police went though lockers and backpacks as well.

Just before 11:30 a.m., police said they found nothing suspicious in the school and gave the "all-clear."
No injuries were reported.
