Funeral For Children Found In Freezer To Be Held Monday At Greater Grace Temple

DETROIT (WWJ) - A local Detroit church will hold a funeral for two slain children Monday morning.

Greater Grace Temple will hold the memorial service for 13-year old Stony Blair and 8-year old Stephen Berry, whose bodies were discovered last month in a deep freezer inside their home.

The horrifying discovery was made March 24 when a court officer went to serve an eviction notice at a unit in the Martin Luther King Apartments, in the 800 block of St Aubin Street, in the area of Lafayette and Larned.

Murder, Torture Charges Added For Detroit Mother Of 2 Kids Found In Freezer

The siblings' mother, Mitchelle Blair, 35, is charged with two counts of felony murder, two counts of premeditated murder, two counts of torture, four counts of first degree child abuse, and one count of committing first degree in the presence of another child.
