Funeral Arrangements Set For Camp Worker Who Died From Bacterial Meningitis

SHELBY TOWNSHIP (WWJ) - Funeral arrangements have been set for the Shelby Township camp worker who died last week.

Kristy Malter, 21, contracted bacterial meningitis and according to an obituary on the Sullivan and Son Funeral Home website, she passed away on July 14.

Malter was a senior at Central Michigan University and worked at Rochester Hills Lifetime Fitness.

Visitation for Malter will be Tuesday afternoon at William Sullivan and Son Funeral Home in Utica.

A funeral is set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church.

The family has set up a Go Fund Me account for a Kristy Malter Memorial Fund.
