DETROIT (WWJ) -- Spring has sprung in metro Detroit, but nobody told Mother Nature that.

A Frost Advisory has been issued for much of suburban Detroit, including Lenawee, Livingston, Macomb, Oakland, St. Clair and Washtenaw Counties.

The advisory will be in effect from 2 a.m. until 8 a.m. Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures are expected to drop into the lower to middle 30s, resulting in some areas of frost. Sensitive outdoor plants may be damaged or killed if left uncovered.
