Former Spartan Blair White Calls Michigan 'Losers'

Former Michigan running back Mike Hart called Michigan State "little brother" on Nov. 3, 2007. Ever since he uttered that statement, the rivalry between Michigan and Michigan State hasn't been the same.

Michigan State has won five out of the last six and Michigan's only win came with a 12-10 victory over the Spartans in 2012.

One key player for the Spartan teams that helped turn the tide was former walk-on Blair White.

White played with the Spartans from 2005-2009. Blair was a key player in the Spartans win over the Wolverines in 2008 when he caught 4 passes for 143 yards and two touchdowns.

White spoke with the Lansing State Journal and really said something that caught my attention.

"In my playing days against Michigan, we won a couple games," said White, the former walk-on who went on to play 20 games in two seasons with the Indianapolis Colts before a back injury ended his career. "That's always one of our top 5 goals each year – to beat those losers."
