Former Michigan State Punter Mike Sadler Dies In Accident, Along With Nebraska's Sam Foltz

DETROIT (CBS DETROIT) - "He gave us all so much in so little time. Our thoughts & prayers are with him and his family," reads the message from Spartan head coach Mark Dantonio on Twitter.

News of a deadly accident taking the lives of two former college football players; Michigan State punter Mike Sadler and Nebraska's Sam Foltz. Reports state the two died in a car accident in Wisconsin this weekend, a third person, LSU kicker Colby Delahoussaye, was also reportedly in the car and also injured in the wreck, but survived, according to The Advocate.

According to CBS News the three young men were in Wisconsin attending a punter's camp.

Reports state that Sadler was driving the car which lost control on wet pavement and struck a tree. Foltz was a passenger in the car and Delahoussaye was riding in the back seat when the accident occurred. Initial reports state that speed may have been a factor in the accident but authorities are still investigating.
