Flags! Waves! Let's Celebrate Veterans' Day!

The CW50 Street Team honored our Veterans at Detroit's Annual Veterans' Day Parade. The parade was filled with symbols of patriotism and love for the country.

Throughout the day, service men and women walked down Detroit's Jefferson Avenue waving proudly. Local high school marching bands, Junior ROTC, and many more joined them in the parade as viewers cheered "thank you" from the side lines to show their support.
"We owe it to them, to be here and support them." said Shannon Parker. "Everyday they are out there supporting and protecting us."
"It's quite an exciting event" explains Jerry Eden who is part of the American Legion Riders Post 396 in Garden City. They have been riding in the parade for several years and will continue to do it as long as they can.
The CW50 Street Team wishes all the Veterans a Happy Veterans Day and invites everyone to show their American pride at next years parade.
