Five Michigan Restaurants Earn Coveted AAA Four Diamond Rating Award

DEARBORN (WWJ) - Just in time for Valentine's Day, AAA Michigan has officially announced the five award-winning restaurants that have earned the Four Diamond Rating during the past 12 months.

• Rugby Grille -- Birmingham
• Iridescence -- Detroit
• Café Cortina -- Farmington Hills
• Cygnus 27  -- Grand Rapids
• Marais -- Grosse Pointe

The four and five Diamond Ratings are AAA's highest designations for restaurants. Restaurants at this level offer a distinctive fine-dining experience and attentive service, according to AAA. Creative chefs, imaginative menus, fresh top-quality ingredients and expert staff distinguish these establishments.

These restaurants are part of a select group of establishments within North America. Currently, just 683 restaurants throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean hold the AAA Four Diamond Rating.
