Growing up, I always wanted to be a hockey goalie. Not because I thought it was the best sport to play or anything like that. It was because I thought goalies looked so cool.
I still would love to dress up as a goalie and see what it's like, but when I was younger my parents weren't spending the money to get me the equipment.
Luckily I can live vicariously through the Detroit Red Wings' goalies.
The Red Wings Instagram posted photos of the holiday helmets that goalies Petr Mrazek and Jimmy Howard will wear the entire month of December.
I really like the gingerbread man touch on Howard's helmet. The mean-looking Rudolph on Mrazek's is my favorite part of his helmet.
