First Look At Melissa Benoist In 'Supergirl' Costume

Melissa Benoist has donned the super suit and she Tweeted the first two photos to be seen by the public.

According to Comic Book Resources, the show has started production on a pilot.

During the Television Critics Association press tour CBS president Nina Tassler shared details about the show including how the costume has been designed by Oscar winner Colleen Atwood, who also did the costumes for "Arrow" and "The Flash".

While "Supergirl" will be on CBS, The CW network president Mark Pedowitz has expressed an interest in crossovers in "Arrow" and "The Flash".
