Fill Those Red Kettles! Saturday Is Celebrity Bell Ringer Day For The Salvation Army
SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) - Media personalities and musicians in metro Detroit will come together on Saturday, Dec. 3 for The Salvation Army's Celebrity Bell Ringer Day.
From 10 a.m. to noon, local celebrities will spread holiday cheer by ringing a bell alongside The Salvation Army's iconic red kettles to help raise awareness for the 2016 Red Kettle Campaign, The Salvation Army's largest fundraiser of the year.
The public is encouraged to visit their favorite media personalities at almost 40 storefront kettle locations across metro Detroit. Visitors are welcome to ask for autographs or take photographs with their favorite celebrity in exchange for a red kettle donation.
