DEARBORN (WWJ) - Dearborn police need the public's help to identify and track down a wanted bank robber.

The summertime crime happened Monday, Aug. 1, 2016, at the DFCU branch in the 21000 block of Oakwood near Beech.

According to police, the suspect — described as a white female — entered the business and passed a note to one of the bank tellers, demanding money. No one was hurt.

A security camera photo was released in hopes that someone might recognize her.

"With help from the community, we will identify the suspect, and use all available resources to apprehend this individual," Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad said in a statement.

Police said they don't have a description of the suspect vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to call Dearborn detectives at 313-943-2241.
