FBI: Tip Leads To Capture Of Carjacking Fugitive Nicknamed 'Two Head'

DETROIT (WWJ) - The FBI has captured a fugitive wanted in connection with a carjacking and shooting in Detroit, thanks to a tip from the public.

The FBI says officers from the Detroit Police Department Special Operations Unit took Angelo "Two Head" Allen into custody late Tuesday afternoon.

Officers were led to Allen by a tip from a concerned citizen, who responded to media coverage of the FBI's request for the public's assistance, officials said.

Allen was taken into custody, without incident, less than 24 hours after the FBI's request went out.

Allen's brother, Carlos Allen, was arrested in Columbus, Ohio on Thursday in connection with the same incident, which occurred Monday, May 16 on Goulburn Avenue.

Charges are pending.
