Fauria Apologizes For Tweet About Girlfriend Allegedly Cheating With Seahawks' Russell Wilson

CBS DETROIT - Detroit Lions tight end Joe Fauria took to Twitter to apologize Monday afternoon for a Sunday night post in which he appeared to accuse his girlfriend of cheating on him with Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson.
Fauria then made a swift and humorous change of subject.
Deadspin originally brought attention to Fauria's late-night tweet and prefaced a brief story on it with the headline "Joseph Fauria's Tweet About His Girlfriend And Russell Wilson Is...Odd."
Fauria's girlfriend never reacted on social media to Fauria's accusation. Her most recent Twitter post was a retweet of Fauria's close friend, Lions punter Sam Martin, who had posted a slow-motion close-up of Fauria's twerking rear with the caption, "BREAK THE INTERNET!!"
