Man And Child Found Dead In Oxford Home
OXFORD (WWJ) - A man and 7-month-old infant were found dead in a home on Sunday morning in Oxford.
Oakland County Sheriff's officials told WWJ Newsradio 950 that the two were found in a home on Kintyre Street just off Lapeer Road. Authorities arrived at the scene at about 10 a.m.
Sheriff Mike Bouchard said that a third person, a woman, was taken to a hospital with injuries. Bouchard said a "sharp instrument" seized by investigators may have been used in the killings.
Bouchard calls it a "very bizarre" incident, as there's no evidence that a stranger was involved but how it happened is "a work in progress" for investigators.
The sheriff says deputies went to the home after the child wasn't returned to another home in a different county. The man was 29-years-old.
