Fatal shooting on Waverly Street in Detroit under investigation

Waverly Street shooting investigation

A fatal shooting on Detroit's Waverly Street is under investigation. 

The call was made to police about 3 a.m. Friday, with a report of an emergency in the area of Waverly and Dexter streets, near Highland Park. Detroit Police said that a man was taken to a hospital, where he died of his injuries.  

Police are seeking information or witnesses in the case, officers do not have a suspect at this time.
