Fatal Crash On I-96 Ramp Expected To Cause Delays Through Morning Commute

DETROIT (WWJ) - Authorities are investigating a deadly two-vehicle crash on I-96 that is expected to cause delays through the Thursday morning rush hour.

The accident happened around 6 a.m. on the eastbound I-96 exit ramp to Davison Avenue.

Police are still trying to confirm the identity of the victim. At this point, investigators are unable to say if the victim was a pedestrian or an ejected driver.

Other circumstances surrounding the crash weren't immediately clear.

Police are urging motorists to avoid the area, as delays are expected through the morning commute.
