Family Seeks Tips In Case Of Detroit Man Killed In Road Rage Incident

DETROIT (WWJ) - While the family of a Detroit man is preparing for his funeral, they are hoping someone will come forward with information about his death.

Cedric Horn, 59, was shot and killed in a road rage incident last Monday on I-94 near the French Road exit in Detroit.

Police said Horn was the victim in a road rage incident that started near I-75.

"If anybody was on the roads the night of December 8th, between 10 o'clock and 10:30 — maybe they seen somebody or an erratic car or something like that...come forward," said Horn's son Sean Lee.

Lee said his dad touched many lives and was recently honored by his employer, Henry Ford Hospital in Wyandotte, where he worked as a distributor.

Horn's colleagues held a tribute there in Horn's honor.

"They created a special ornament with his picture and his name engraved in it. They presented it to me and they hung it at the top of the tree," said Lee." And not only did they do that — my dad was 59 when he passed, so they released 59 balloons into the air in tribute to my dad ... That was absolutely amazing and overwhelming and it made our hearts extremely full."

"It's though, but Dad was a great man," he said, "and the encouraging thing is my dad has left an unbelievable mark and an unbelievable legacy."

Anyone with information about this case is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP. Tipsters may remain anonymous.
