Family Identifies 4 Found Dead At Northern Michigan Trailer

GREENWOOD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) — A woman says that the four people found slain in a northern Michigan trailer were her daughter, the 24-year-old's young sons and her estranged boyfriend.

Nancy McMaster tells WFQX-TV in Cadillac that her daughter Cecelia Woods had a volatile relationship with 39-year-old James Jackson.

State police 1st Lt. Mike Hahn says it appears that the man killed the woman and boys ages 2 and 4 before killing himself. It happened Saturday in Oscoda County's Greenwood Township, about 180 miles north-northwest of Detroit.

McMaster says Jackson was the father of the older boy, James. McMaster says the father of the younger boy Keyon died earlier.

State police haven't released the names.

The suburban-Detroit woman says Jackson had a history of abusing her daughter and was jailed for domestic violence.
