Ex-Michigan RB Sam McGuffie Makes The US National Bobsled Team

YouTube sensation and former Michigan Wolverines hopeful Sam McGuffie made it back into the headlines on Monday.

The highly-recruited running back from Texas joined the U.S. National Bobsled team, just a couple of years removed from his football career.

After transferring from Rich Rodriguez's Michigan squad just one season into his Wolverines career, McGuffie went on to see his football career derailed by injury at Rice University.

 

He went on to play for a few NFL teams' practice squads, but would eventually land in the CFL.

However, he'll still be remembered as a YouTube legend, and maybe now as a great bobsleder.
