Ex-Bear Tillman To Open Air And Water Show With Tandem Jump

CHICAGO (AP) — Former Chicago Bear Charles Tillman will open the 58th Annual Chicago Air and Water Show on Aug. 20 by tandem jumping with the U.S. Army Golden Knights.

The retired cornerback's jump will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the USO's aid to military service members and their families.

The Air and Water Show will be Aug. 20-21 on the Lake Michigan lakefront from Fullerton to Oak Street. North Avenue Beach will be the show center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.

It's sponsored by Shell and the city of Chicago.

Tillman was the 2013 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year and the 2015 USO Angel Harvey Heart of a Patriot Award recipient. He also was recognized last year with the NFL Salute to Service Award.
