End Of The Road For The 'Mean Streak' Roller Coaster At Cedar Point?

SANDUSKY, Ohio (WWJ) - Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio, re-opens Monday after a weekend marred by problems because of a water main break.

The roller coaster mecca shut down early on Saturday because of the burst water main-- the park was back open in a limited fashion on Sunday, but the park's Soak City water feature remained closed.

Everything's back open -- just ahead of a major announcement at Cedar Point Monday morning. Coaster experts online suggest the park will announce retirement of its Mean Streak wooden coaster, and announce an upgraded Soak City water park for the 2017 season.
