Missing Elderly Roseville Man Found Safe

ROSEVILLE (WWJ) - Police in Roseville say a missing elderly man is back home safe.

Robert Anderson, 78, had last been seen at around 4 p.m. Thursday at his home in the 26000 block of Woodmont, in a neighborhood along Frazho and Hayes roads.

Police said Anderson doesn't have access to a vehicle would be on foot, possibly be looking for his prior address on Decatur Street in Detroit, near Chicago and Schaefer Highway.

Relatives were especially worried because Anderson suffers from dementia.

Early in the afternoon, police said he was located in the area of Hoover and 11 Mile in Warren where he walked up to a resident and asked for help.

The resident gave Anderson a ride home, police said, and he  appears to be fine.
