ALLEN PARK (CBS DETROIT) - With Detroit Lions tight end and touchdown dance aficionado Joe Fauria out for the season, tight end Eric Ebron said he will be ready to step in for Fauria in more ways than one.

"I'm not twerking, I am not shaking my butt in no which way or form, but I'll definitely, definitely, when or if I score this Minnesota game - I'm going with when - I will definitely have something in store for my man Joseph," Ebron said Friday. "I've got to do it for Joe."

Ebron would not give any hint of what kind of dance he would do if he gets the chance.

"Nah, because I don't know what it might be, but I'm going to do something," Ebron said.

"I'm pretty sure Joe plans what dances he wants to do, but nah, most of the time it just comes with emotion, man," Ebron continued. "Most of the dances are set upon emotion. Everybody loves the game we play or else we wouldn't be here. It's set on emotion."

The Lions have adjusted to the absence of Fauria several times already this year because he missed six games for an ankle injury earlier in the season. He re-injured the ankle Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Fauria got a touchdown that game - his first score in nearly a year - and twerked his way to Internet stardom upon his arrival in the end zone.

Ebron said he does not expect Fauria's absence to translate to a big increase in his playing time Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings.

"I've been getting a decent amount of time already," Ebron said. "It should definitely be just a couple more plays. I wouldn't mind it.

"You just switch up a few things here and there, nothing major," Ebron added. "Fill in for Joe, Joe's a very good talent. Man, I'm going to miss him. That's my dog. We're real close. Somebody's got to do what Joe did, and it's me, and I've just got to step up and do it."

Ebron has 22 catches for 199 yards and one touchdown this season.
