Ebron Out With Knee Injury For Detroit

SEATTLE (AP) — Detroit Lions tight end Eric Ebron is out of Monday's game against the Seattle Seahawks after suffering a knee injury in the first half.

Ebron suffered a left knee injury midway through the second quarter on a 5-yard run by Theo Reddick. Ebron was rolled up blocking on the play. He was examined on the sideline for several minutes before walking back to the locker room. The team said at the start of the second half that he would not return.

Ebron had two catches for 22 yards before getting injured.

Seattle lost cornerback Marcus Burley and wide receiver Ricardo Lockette in the first half to injuries. Burley suffered a thumb injury and Lockette was announced as out due to shortness of breath.
