Easy On The Eyes, Gentle With The Brains: iZombie's Dr. Ravi Is TV's Hottest Forensic Pathologist

By Glennis Markison

Full beard? Check.
Button-down shirt? Yep.
Knowledge of Instagram? Damn straight.

Is Ravi a 25-year-old hipster who watches Freaks and Geeks from his mom's Netflix account?
He is not.

Ravi Chakrabarti (Rahul Kohli) is a forensic pathologist on the new CW primetime hit, iZombie. He's brilliant, funny, and fundamentally drawn to the bizarre, the odd, and the grotesque.

Enter… Olivia Moore, his new (and un-dead) assistant medical examiner.

When Ravi finds out for sure that Liv is a brain-eating zombie, he asks her magnificent questions: "First, why the hot sauce? Is that a zombie thing?" / "Not feeling well? Could it be something YOU ATE?"

After Liv admits she was afraid of being fired, Ravi responds with utter shock: "I'm contemplating asking you to move in!"

And when Liv wonders if she should use her zombie *gifts* to help solve a crime? Ravi's response is delightfully bleak: "Liv, you ate the girl's temporal lobe. Going to the police is the least you can do."

In a primetime world where, let's break it down: the *hot* guys aren't funny and the *funny* guys aren't hot, Ravi is a rarity. The man's quick-witted AND easy on the eyes. So, just for kicks, we'll be giving you his dorkiest, sexiest, doctor-y-est moments throughout this season.

But, really, you've gotta see him to believe him: Tuesdays @ 9pm.
