Driver Hits Tree, Dies While Fleeing Police Near Flint
FLINT (AP) - A motorist has been killed in a crash while fleeing police in the Flint area.
The Flint Journal reports Saturday that the chase began in Flint Township and the crash occurred about 7 p.m. Friday in Flint.
The newspaper reports that the vehicle left the roadway and hit a tree.
State police, Genesee County sheriff's deputies and officers from Flint, Flint Township and Clayton Township were at the site of the crash.
No other details were available. The crash is under investigation.
