Driver Flees Scene After Crashing Into DDOT Bus; 2 Children Injured

DETROIT (WWJ) - Police are looking for the driver who crashed into a DDOT bus last night, leaving a 3- and 4-year-old injured.

The crash happened Thursday evening at Meyers Road and Curtis Street, just north of McNichols Road and the Lodge Freeway.

Police say the driver ran a stop sign before striking the bus. Several passengers were on the bus at the time.

The two children are in stable condition.

An investigation is ongoing.
