Dramatic Video Released Of Warren Police Chase Crash [VIDEO]

WARREN (WWJ) - Police have released dramatic video of a chase that ended in a rollover crash Thursday in Warren.

A total of four people were injured in the incident off the I-696 service drive at 11 Mile and Dequinder roads — including a suspects, two police officers and a civilian.

Warren Police Commissioner Jere Green said officers recognized a suspect vehicle sought in connection with two attempted bank robberies and one successful bank robbery in the area, Thursday afternoon, and a pursuit began.

As seen in the dash cam video out Friday, a Warren police SUV, lights flashing, is following closely behind an orange Chevy HHR when the driver loses control and overturns. About a second later, the suspect vehicle slams into a pickup truck at the intersection.

Two police officers were taken to a local hospital for treatment of what Green said were non-life-threatening injuries. The pickup truck driver, who also suffered minor injuries, had to be cut out of his vehicle.

The two suspects were arrested; one taken to a local hospital with a head injury and the other to jail.

No names have been released.
