Downtown Detroit Rally Looks To Bring U-M, MSU Fans Together Before Big Football Game

DETROIT (WWJ) -- We're still three weeks away from the big football game between Michigan and Michigan State, but both sides are already teaming up for a party with fans.

The two won't square off on the gridiron until October 29, but both sides will come together Wednesday for "The Big Game Rally" at Campus Martius Park.

The event, which is now in its second year, will allow fans and alumni to come together and enjoy not only food and beer, but to take part in field games and interact with cheerleaders and band members from both U-M and MSU.

There will also be an alumni flag football game with local sports media serving as play-by-play announcers. Festivities will begin at 11 a.m. and run until 8 p.m.

To sign up for the field games, visit the event's website HERE.
